C Programming language is developed by Dennis Ritchie in 1972 in AT & T laboratories.
Before C Programming language, There are many computer programming languages available suchas ALGOL, BCPL, B etc, but these Programming languages having its own limitations.
ALGOL can be used to write scientific related softwares. BCPL and B is used for system programming means we can not write all software in all fields with one programming language.
To overcome this problem C Programming is developed. We can develop softwares in multiple fields using C Programming.
The most popular operating system Unix is developed by using C Program.
C is mostly designed for system programming.
It is also used in operating system, Utility Programmes, Compilers etc.
